It is their psychological situations rather than physical looks that determine the plot. Read allManuel meets Julio in a chat room. Some fantastic ideas and I'm giving this high rating because I just enjoyed their dialog and bonding so well. They begin a physical relationship but struggle with trust and commitment. It is cute until it becomes horrific.

I know a lot of people don't like love at first sight stories but I grew up on all those Amour fou type French films from Honore to Ozon, even Bertollucci s movies, Dreamers for instance, have this literally DIE FOR YOU AND KILL FOR YOU love that's always resonated with the idealist at heart while their cruel brutality satisfies the pure nihilist in me.

The film tries to dupe us into believing the bad guy is the one with tattoos and the butch manner but I think only the most class-biased among us would fall for that. (The score, in particular, is distractingly awful throughout.)

The final twist would've been more effective had the score and song used not made so clear that something was about to happen.

The whole plot only happened whole night with flash back sometimes. Both of which are my top favorite films. I guess. As their relationship develops, secrets from their pasts cause problems with intimacy and trust.

Manuel meets Julio in a chat room.

Maybe it's a comment on Argentine biases, though. As they share personal secrets, questions arise about their truthfulness and identities, leading to a shocking revelation.

    Surprisingly a Good Gay Thriller

Honestly, when I first watched this film, somehow it's a little bit boring.

Which one varies sentence to sentence. I could be wrong. And I would add... And by ‘us’ I mean The Gays™.

I’ll always maintain that the cringe, cheesy dialogues in the first half and the movie’s overall cheapness are a feature and not a bug.
