"We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people. This year, we're commemorating this milestone with Pride Toronto by featuring them on our can design, as well as continuing as the official beer sponsor of the festival," the beer brand's website states.

A group of men from a Canadian naturist group walk through the streets of Toronto during the annual pride parade.

The fully naked bikers, some covered in paint or tattoos, wave back at the crowd. Nudists had a booth inviting people – including minors – to join a naked swimming club.

GTA Skinny Dippers welcomes children to swim naked with them. The camera captures a young girl sitting in a stroller and staring toward the phallic-costumed individual.

Other videos show a group of naked men playing and rinsing themselves off alongside a fountain surrounded by kids.

One naked man high-fives an onlooker while another peddles a recumbent bike with a gold blow-up swan adorned around his neck.

A second video shows a group of naked men with hats standing in a circle amidst the crowd. The group also offers free memberships to children ages 14 to 18, with youth in that age group welcome without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Pride Toronto did not respond to True North’s request for comment.

The Criminal Code of Canada states that “everyone who, without lawful excuse, is nude in a public place is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.”

The Toronto Police Service told True North that arresting people for public nudity would not be in the “best interest” of officers or the community.

“At large events such as the Pride Parade, which attracts as many as a million people, our number one priority is public safety and ensuring a peaceful event,” a Toronto police spokesperson told True North in an email.

On the same march, a man wearing nothing but a cartoon Bugs Bunny mask and furry rabbit foot-slippers hopped around while his genitals were exposed to the crowd.

Another video from the Pride weekend events, billed by organizers as family friendly, showed a naked woman slapping her backside in front of a crowd watching a drag performer on the street.

A man wearing a leather thong approached a family with two children on the sidelines of the march, where his groin was at the children’s eye level.

At Friday’s Trans Pride Parade in Toronto, several barely-dressed men wearing transgender flags walked past children.

Since the bill was passed, nudists of San Francisco have come together to protest in the annual parade.

Gypsy Taub, the 49-year-old organizer of the Nude Parade, feels compelled to protest.

“I’ve been organizing these events for over six years now in opposition to the nudity ban that was forced on the city illegally by Scott Wiener,” Taub said.

Taub believes nudity is part of the culture and history of the Castro district, where she recalls her first time being exposed to public nudity.

“For me, the Castro district is where I first saw public nudity, which was 20-something years ago when I was a student at San Francisco City College,” Taub said.

He tweeted that it "was great to feel the love, energy, and sunshine" as he took part in the parade with the city employees.

"Our diversity makes us stronger, which is why we must send a clear message to our LGBTQIA+ community today and every day: we see you, we support you, and you belong here," Harrell said, according to Fox News.

Seattle Pride said on its website that the parade has been organized yearly since 1974, although the city didn't officially recognize the first parade.

The Seattle Pride festivities have attracted an estimated 300,000 members of the LGBTQIA+, friends, and allies in the past few years.

Toronto police say no charges were laid for public nudity at this weekend’s Pride parade as making arrests wouldn’t serve anyone’s interests.

Another clip shows a person wearing a giant penis costume that covers his entire head. “Back then, they had amazing Halloween celebrations with a lot of body freedom—so beautiful and so much creativity.”

The mother of three encourages her children to partake in this expression of creativity as well.

Inti Gonzalez, 18-year-old daughter of Gypsy Taub, stood topless alongside her mother holding a sign that read “Freedom of Choice.”

Gonzalez feels as though nudity is more difficult for her to embrace at times.

“In my house it was considered fine, and then outside in society it was not, so I still have shame about it and it’s still even hard for me to go topless,” Gonzalez said.

Gary Smith, long-time attendee of the annual Nude Parade and active nudist, feels empowered by his decision to go nude.

“It’s just so unusual to be out in public in a crowd and not have to wear anything,” Smith said.

Bud Light has partnered with the event as a sponsor for the last 10 years. Several children walk past the group of men with their families.

COORS LIGHT STANDS FIRM AS TITLE SPONSOR OF DENVER PRIDE PARADE DESPITE BUD LIGHT CONTROVERSY

A Bud Light float is driven through the street at the 2023 Pride Toronto parade.

The decision angered consumers and the brand saw a significant decrease in sales, resulting in billions of dollars in lost market value.

In early April, Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth attempted to douse the flames with a lengthy statement to customers.

BUD LIGHT BUYING BACK UNSOLD, EXPIRED BEER FROM WHOLESALERS AS SALES CONTINUE TO SUFFER: REPORT

Pride Toronto attendees wearing Bud Light merchandise wave flags and walk through the annual parade.

Some families can also be seen having a picnic near the naked people.

Fox 11 News reported that the Seattle Police Department responded to reports of naked adults present in the Pride events, but they stated there hadn't been any official complaints or arrests.

In a statement to Snopes, the Seattle police said that their role on the day of the parade was to ensure "safety and security" rather than regulate the festivities.

"The ordinance in question is Ordinance 124301, which added to the Seattle Municipal Code a provision around indecent exposure, which predicates enforcement of the misdemeanor on a requirement that the exposure be both 'open and obscene' and while 'knowing that such conduct is likely to cause reasonable affront or alarm,'" the Seattle police said.

Seattle police added that apprehending the naked adults is "better left to parade organizers and the permit process."

Several Democratic politicians were seen attending the Seattle Pride event.

On Twitter, Washington Rep.

Pramila Jayapal posted pictures of herself at the parade, along with her supporters.

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell also marched in the event. (Bud Light was initially mentioned prominently in one of the posters.) The event is listed as a "family festival event" and a family-friendly, "safe space" for all visitors.

At least one child was seen riding alongside them.

The naked cyclists waved at the crowd, including at the children seated on the side of the road.

Naked and unafraid

Nudists marched down the streets of the Castro for San Francisco’s fourth annual Nude Parade, with signs hoisted in the air to protest against San Francisco’s public nudity ordinance.

The San Francisco Nude Parade took place at Jane Warner Plaza on Sunday in the Castro district.

Bud Light is serving as an official sponsor of the Toronto Pride parade, where video footage shows naked men standing around and riding bicycles in clear view of children attending the event.

The footage, captured by Beth Baisch of the Post Millennial, shows dozens of attendees riding past a large cheering crowd.

We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer," he said in part. According to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the anti-nudity bill made it illegal for genitals to be exposed in any public space, with the exception of permitted events that are approved by the city and county of San Francisco.

“It’s not in the best interest of officers or the community to have police wading into crowds to arrest people for public nudity, a charge which requires the consent of the Attorney General.”

The criminal code states that “no proceedings shall be commenced under this section without the consent of the Attorney General.”

Indecent acts and indecent exposure are also illegal under the Criminal Code, and these charges do not require the attorney general’s consent.

Indecent exposure involves exposing one’s genitals for a sexual purpose to a person who is under the age of 16 years old.

When asked if Toronto police would not be able to arrest a naked man running through the streets of Toronto without the consent of the attorney general, the officer told True North that they didn’t “have anything further to add to this.”
