Nathan GayNathan Gay, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Indiana State University.
The Bison spirit runs deep in the Gay family as his wife also graduated from OBU in 1984. We help children and adolescents to learn skills and strategies to improve their attention, complete homework, worry less, be happier or improve their overall self-esteem.
She currently teaches kindergarten. Gay has over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University. The Gays have two children who have graduated from OBU and another child still is in high school.
When not teaching, Gay enjoys farming, wood working and playing the piano.

Our providers have experience and training to help with many of the questions or concerns that lead parents to seek treatment. He completed his APA Pre-Doctoral Internship at UMASS Memorial Community Healthlink – Youth and Family Services in Worcester, MA. Prior to starting Attention, Behavior and Cognition, Dr. Gay was the Director of Clinical Services at a non-profit behavioral health organization providing special education and treatment services to children, adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, intellectual and developmental disorders.
Dr. Gay also has experience and training in the assessment and/or treatment of social, emotional or behavioral concerns such as anxiety, depression, oppositional or defiant behavior, school refusal, as well as adult ADHD evaluation and treatment. Before founding ABC, he worked in a group practice providing treatment and diagnostic evaluation services to children, adolescents and families.
