Sorry, that uh . Whether anything will come out of that remains to be seen.
Venture – Non-Binary
It was revealed at Blizzcon’s 2023 opening ceremony that Venture, a non-binary hero with a massive drill, would be coming to Overwatch 2 next year.
Unfortunately, not much is known about Venture outside of what they look like, that they’ll be DPS hero, and they go by they/them pronouns — which was confirmed by Overwatch 2’s technical artist, Ana Martínez.
Soldier: 76
Jack Morrison also known as Soldier:76 was the second LGBTQ+ hero to be confirmed by Blizzard. He’s just vibing.
Baptiste – Bisexual
Baptiste has been confirmed as bisexual by Activision Blizzard during Overwatch 2’s very first Pride Month.
Because of this desire for representation, fans of the game were more than happy when Activision Blizzard revealed the game’s very first LGBTQIA character to be the ‘star’ of Overwatch, a British hero character named Tracer.
Apparently, yes.
While he’s healing he looks at an old picture of him and a man named Vincent. That was our primary focus this year, if that helps see what our goals were.”
Outside of the game, Blizzard is launching a range of Pride-themed apparel at the Blizzard Gear Store, which has been curated by the company’s LGBT+ employee network. Even before the confirmation from Blizzard, Baptiste regularly flirted with several members of the Overwatch team, such as Lifeweaver, Ana, and Mercy.
They aren’t together anymore though with Morrison putting his duty over his relationship. And a blog post from Blizzard for Pride month confirms his bisexuality as well. And then we have the the map content as well. "And you'll see this reflected in his voice lines, conversations, and other content."

Pharah is a proud lesbian
Pharah is a lesbian in Overwatch 2.
Niran is a friend of Symmetra’s.
Even so, Baptiste is bisexual. However, we’ve decided to only focus on characters you can play in the game. There was also a hint of the popular fanship Pharmercy within the story, with Pharah seemingly having a long-lasting crush on the Swiss doctor. “No, definitely not.
Pharah – Lesbian
While Pharah fans have long since suspected that their favourite gal was a lesbian, it was never really confirmed… Until now.
In the 2023 Pride celebrations, a spray called Lena and Emily was added for her to use, showing the characters posing together in a Polaroid photo.
Venture
Venture is the latest hero added to the Overwatch 2 hero pool and was established early on as the game’s first non-binary hero, using they/them pronouns. And now Vincent is happily married but it seems that our old Soldier still holds a candle for him.
“Vincent deserved a happier life than the one I could give him.” Jack sighed.
Michael Chu, who wrote the story, also confirmed their relationship on social media.

Lifeweaver is openly pansexual
Lifeweaver is Overwatch 2’s first hero who is openly pansexual. In the comic, Tracer has a girlfriend named Emily. However, considering the sequel’s push for more story-focused missions, it’s possible that Emily could be featured sometime in the future.
Soldier 76 – Gay
Much like Tracer, Soldier 76 was revealed to be gay in a medium outside of the official Overwatch game.
In a short story that has Soldier 76 and Ana meet up for the first time in years, readers get to see an image of Soldier alongside a dark-haired man called Vincent.
Several characters have had their identities explored in expanded comics and stories. In the story, Baptiste is talking to Pharah about her life and he asks whether she and Cassidy are together.
